The Department of Computer Engineering focuses on building strong foundations in programming, data structures, algorithms, database management, computer networks and operating systems, along with emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing and cyber security.
Students are trained through a balance of theory and hands-on lab work, mini-projects and industry-oriented practicals, preparing them to design, develop and maintain software systems and applications used across industries.
Graduates can pursue careers as software developers, web and app developers, database administrators, network engineers and system analysts in IT and software companies, product firms, government IT departments, and can also pursue higher studies or entrepreneurship in technology.
